Hey guys Mike Saunders the Authority Positioning Coach here- hey we’re going to talk today about a really interesting topic called “Servant Leadership” and it might sound counter intuitive to think about servant leadership as it applies to your authority positioning. But it’s a really powerful concept. And you may have heard of it before but it really just is your mind-set of serving your employees or serving your vendors, your customers, your clients & the people you come in contact with.

And I did a presentation today and we worked with a group of people at my local Christian business networking group and we touched on this and it made me think afterwards how we can apply this not only in our business but to keep a cautionary approach when we’re doing our authority positioning because as you know we’re experts and authorities in what in our subject matter expertise right whatever you do whatever your business is or your thought leadership is.

You’re an expert in that because your clients and your prospects in your strategic alliances. They don’t know all of the nuances and ins and outs of what you do but the line that we need to make sure that we don’t cross is when we take that vain glory. You know: “I’m an expert and you’re not or I’m an expert and I know it.” And you don’t like that attitude when you see that in others. So take a servant leadership approach take that mindset and make sure that that it is correlated and combined with your authority positioning so that your authority comes across as valuable and authentic without coming across conceited or with a haughty spirit. And I think that’s something that your clients and your prospects and your target message that you’re getting across really needs to keep a good handle on.

So I thought I would bring that to you and if there’s anything that I can do to talk through this with you or to bring some extra perspectives and loved to reach out so just comment and the video or shoot me an email I’d love to connect with you. Make it a great day.
