Challenges:
I was grinding on social media, email marketing and Facebook ads to grow my audience. Plus, I was pitching myself to dozens of speaking events, blogs, and podcasts with little interest in return. There was just SO MUCH NOISE. I never wanted to play the social media game- in which people just post their personal “vulnerability”. My challenge was in creating enough powerful content that would resonate with my audience WITHOUT just posting and self-promoting.
- What led you to look for a “better way”? What got you off the fence to take action?
My dream has always been to speak on stages. So- I hired a few coaches to help me learn about that business model… I realized that podcasts were a great place to start practicing my “talk”, and I really enjoyed my first few interviews! I’ll never forget when I told Mike (after our interview) that having my own show was “on the back burner”, and he had the perfect way to “put it on the front burner”- which was offering to engineer and produce, so long as I just did interviews!
- What made you confident to choose Mike Saunders the Authority Positioning Coach?
I saw the power his PR push had for my name’s SEO ranking. He was responsive- easy to get a hold of, and clearly “knew his stuff” when it came to syndication and SEO.
