Terms of Use
Effective October 27, 2026. Replaces the terms dated May 25, 2018.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Marketing Huddle, LLC, doing business as The Authority Positioning Coach ("we," "us"). They govern your use of authoritypositioningcoach.com and other Marketing Huddle® websites that link to these Terms (the "Site"). Our Privacy Policy and Disclaimers are part of these Terms. By using the Site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
We may update these Terms. Changes apply from the date posted, and the effective date above shows the latest version. Changes do not apply to a dispute that arose before they were posted.
2. Who may use the site
The Site is for business professionals who are at least 18 years old. It is operated from the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, you are responsible for following your local laws.
3. Our content and trademarks
The Site's text, videos, graphics, logos, downloads and design belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and download materials for your own business use. You may not copy, resell, republish, create derivative works from, or build a competing product from our content without our written permission.
Marketing Huddle®, Authority Positioning Portfolio®, Influential Entrepreneurs® and BrevityBook® are registered trademarks of Marketing Huddle, LLC. The Authority Trust Gap™, the 7 Mindset Shifts names and our other program names are our trademarks. Network and station names and logos belong to their owners and are used only to identify where interviews appeared.
4. Acceptable use
Please don't use the Site to break the law; to harm, overload or try to break into it; to scrape or harvest information about others; to upload malware; or to impersonate anyone. We may suspend or end access to the Site for anyone who does.
5. What you send us
If you send us feedback, questions or other material through the Site, you confirm you have the right to share it, and you let us use it to respond to you and improve our services. We will not publish your name, words or image as a testimonial without your separate permission.
6. Third-party links and tools
The Site links to and embeds services we don't control, such as Vimeo and YouTube videos, our scheduling tool, news station pages, podcast platforms and an optional AI assistant. Their own terms and privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for their content or availability. A link is not an endorsement.
The optional AI assistant answers questions based on Mike Saunders' public teaching. It can be wrong, it is not a substitute for talking with us, and nothing it says changes these Terms or our prices.
7. Purchases, the placement guarantee and subscriptions
These Terms apply to our programs, including the Authority Positioning Portfolio® packages. Prices on the Site are in US dollars and may change; the price shown at checkout or on your invoice when you buy is the one that applies to you.
Placement guarantee. Every interview and press release included in your package is published as promised, or that portion is refunded. The refund covers only the portion not delivered, not the whole package. For example, if your podcast interviews and press releases are delivered but a TV interview is not placed, the TV portion is refunded. The guarantee does not cover results such as new clients, revenue, search rankings or audience size. The guarantee depends on you attending your scheduled interviews and returning approvals when asked.
Upgrades. If you move up to a larger package, 100% of what you paid is credited toward it.
Subscriptions. Monthly programs, such as the Authority HUB™ and Authoritize™ Academy, renew until you cancel. You can cancel anytime by emailing [email protected]; access continues to the end of the paid period and you won't be charged again. Except for the placement guarantee and any refund required by law, payments are non-refundable.
8. Information only
Content on the Site is general education about marketing and positioning. It is not legal, tax, compliance, investment or financial advice. See our Disclaimers for more, including how to read client testimonials and results.
9. No warranties
THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND WE DO NOT PROMISE THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR FREE OF HARMFUL CODE. THIS SECTION DOES NOT LIMIT THE PLACEMENT GUARANTEE IN SECTION 7.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE IS LIMITED TO ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100). FOR A PURCHASED PROGRAM, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THAT PROGRAM. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable legal fees arising from your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of someone else's rights.
12. Disputes
If you have a concern, please contact us first; most issues can be solved with a conversation. If we can't resolve it within 30 days, these Terms are governed by Colorado law, and any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Colorado. Either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court.
13. General terms
These Terms, with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimers, are the entire agreement about the Site. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term right away, we haven't waived it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. Nothing here creates a partnership, employment or agency relationship. Electronic notices and agreements count as being "in writing."
